Too Much Media Knowledge Base - Comment Policy

Too Much Media Knowledge Base - Comment Policy

   The following is the official Too Much Media Comment Policy regarding the posting of comments to Knowledge Base articles. This is in response to many abuses or inappropriate comments posted to Knowledge Base articles that have already been deleted or unapproved. This list is up-to-date as of June 15th, 2007 and is subject to change as needed. In the event of such changes, this article will be updated to reflect those changes.
   The Too Much Media Knowledge Base is intended to be a professional and educational tool that may be used to explore, understand, and utilize the various features of any Too Much Media product.



Section 1 - Valid Comments
   The following list details that which constitutes a valid comment posted to a Knowledge Base article for any product found in the Too Much Media Knowledge Base:

1.1 - The comment must be related to the subject of the Knowledge Base article to which the comment is posted.
1.2 - The comment must not contain inappropriate content as defined by sections 2, 3, and 4 of this policy.
1.3 - The comment must contain a valid question, request, example, or clarification also pertaining to item 1.1.
1.4 - The comment must be clearly worded and understandable.



Section 2 - Solicitation
   The Knowledge Base will not be used to solicit the sale or exchange of goods, products, or services of any kind by surfers or users. Too Much Media reserves the right solicit the sale or exchange of its own goods, products, or services within the bounds of the Knowledge Base, though the exercise of this right is unlikely. Any comments posted to any Knowledge Base article that meet the following criteria will be unapproved and/or deleted:
2.1 - The comment contains links or URLs to external sites soliciting the sale or exchange of any goods, products, or services.
2.2 - The comment contains contact information for any entity soliciting the sale or exchange of any goods, products, or services.
2.3 - The comment contains advertisements of any kind.



Section 3 - Harassment, Flaming, Spamming, etc.
   Too Much Media will absolutely not allow spamming, flaming, or harassment of any kind in comments posted to any Knowledge Base article. Any such comments will be deleted upon discovery. The following list defines that which constitutes flaming, spamming, or harassment:
3.1 - Spamming is defined as posting a specific comment more than one time on a given article.
3.2 - Harassment is defined as any comments posted that insult or attack any company or individual.
3.3 - Flaming is defined as any deliberate hostile comments directed at any individual or company.
3.4 - Any comments that may be interpreted as libelous or potentially libelous will also be removed upon discovery.



Section 4 - Questions, Support, and Requests
   The Knowledge Base comments are intended to allow users to post or share experiences or information related to the subject matter of the article; or request additional information, examples, clarifications, or corrections to the Knowledge Base articles. Any support related questions should be directed to the Too Much Media ticket system located at http://clients.toomuchmedia.com - any support questiosn posted to the Knowledge Base will be removed.
   Any valid comments requesting additional information, examples, clarifications, or corrections will be removed when the request has been fulfilled. Any questions, comments, or requests that warrant a completely new Knowledge Base article will remain for an extended period of time to correspond to any subsequent Administrative replies directing users to the requested Knowledge Base article.



Summary
   The Too Much Media Knowledge Base is intended to be a professional and educational tool that may be used to explore, understand, and utilize the various features of any Too Much Media product. It is not Too Much Media's intention to police or restrict any user's ability to obtain valid information, post valid comments, or request additional information - it is Too Much Media's intention to provide you with the most relevant Knowledge Base content possible. Too Much Media has enacted this policy to provide a more appropriate and professional environment in the Knowledge Base.
